HCC’s Cooperative Education (Co-op) Program offers:
- Work-based experience through co-op and internship placements for students in positions related to their fields of study upon completion of 27 credits.
- Parallel work experiences (students attend class and work in same semester).
- Alternating work experiences (students attend class and work in alternating semesters (Co-op experience at Disney World is an example).
- Experience related to degree or certificate as valuable component of resume.
- Weekly seminar to discuss career goals, topics related to success on the job, and workplace issues and trends.
